Someone to talk to

Birmingham Services for Young People

Birmingham's services for young people are all about working to support their learning and development towards adulthood.

They aim to do this by making sure that young people can discover and explore their potential as fully as possible and make the best choice for their future. This may involve further or higher education, getting a job when they leave school or going into a training position.

They also work with voluntary and community organisations to help us to achieve this. There is lots more information about other services on the Young People's page on the
DirectGov web site
. or visit www.birmingham.gov.uk/young-people

Birmingham Family Information Services

Birmingham's Family Information Service (FIS) also provides a wide range of information relating to families with children, including; detailed information and advice on childcare, information on activities happening in Birmingham during the school holidays and general information and signposting to a wide range of organisations that support families.
