Sampad
Through South Asian arts Sampad aim to actively enrich participants understanding of society, culture, diversity and citizenship.
Sampad works in a wide range of school and community settings, from toddlers to the elderly, providing quality experiences with professional artists where everyone is included, valued and encouraged to make a positive contribution, improving confidence and inspiring creativity.
Sampad regularly have opportunities available for artists and people wanting to enter and work in the creative sector who have a passion for South Asian arts. They also provide opportunities to showcase work through events and competitions.

DanceXchange
DanceXchange is a power house of dance with excellence, innovation, participation and inclusion at its heart – and, together with Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham Royal Ballet, is part of the largest dance partnership in Britain. Housed within the Birmingham Hippodrome complex, DanceXchange has some of the best dance facilities in the UK.
DanceXchange nurtures the best young dance talent, works with communities, hard-to-reach groups and schools. As well as training and inspiring the region’s dance talent through education and professional development, to help shape the dance artists, performers and leaders of the future.
As part of this, DanceXchange runs an open recreational Class Programme and the Centre for Advanced Training for South Asian and Contemporary Dance, in partnership with sampad South Asian Arts. They are also managing the legacy of the Cultural Olympiad for dance in the West Midlands and are a co-producer, with Birmingham Hippodrome, of International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB), one of the largest and most diverse dance festivals in the world.

THSH
THSH Education & Community department offers a wide range of creative opportunities to connect people to music, inspired by the magnificence of our world-class venues and the wide range of outstanding, uplifting and transformative musical experiences on offer.
THSH invite, engage and inspire over 20,000 people every year through their Education and Community work which is developed and delivered in partnership with a wide range of organisations and through consultation with participants. Project Managers in the department have particular focus on children and young people and community engagement and use their expertise in these areas to develop high quality programmes of work.

Birmingham Repertory Theatre
Birmingham Repertory Theatre is one of the UK’s leading theatres producing exciting work for audiences across the region. But they don’t just create theatre – their stages, staff and productions provide endless opportunities to open doors and minds. Learning and participation is central to The REP, their innovative work with schools and communities driven by their commitment to lifelong learning is bringing actors and audiences together, transforming lives and encouraging us all to learn about theatre and through theatre.

mac birmingham
Located in Cannon Hill Park, two miles south of Birmingham city centre mac offers a busy programme of theatre, dance, independent cinema, exhibitions and special events, as well as a wealth of practical classes in all aspects of creativity, from playing musical instruments to ceramics and jewellery-making.

IKON
Ikon's learning team build meaningful relationships with Ikon’s audience that enable visitors to engage with, discuss and reflect upon contemporary art. The gallery believes that such activity celebrates personal experience, promotes creativity and engenders an enthusiasm for learning.
Ikon offers a rage of free activities aimed at families and young visitors. This includes Family Saturdays, School Holiday workshops and a Family Gallery Guide.
The Ikon Youth Programme (IYP) is a group of young people who share an interest in visual art. Meeting regularly at Ikon Gallery young people aged 15 - 19 years are encouraged to devise creative projects, establish networks with other youth groups and share their thoughts and opinions about a range of topics.
